Flying-J Studios acquired the intellectual rights to the Unemployed Stormtrooper series originally produced by Tiger-Claw Pictures and Wild Stallions Ltd.

With nine full episode scripted, Flying-J Studios aggressively pursued the series, negotiating heavily with Tiger-Claw Pictures this past November. When the dust of negotiations finally settled, it was Flying-J Studios that announced they had a deal.

“This was a project that we were very, very interested in,” said Taras Zharov. “The original web-only episode has shown what the full potential of a developed series can be.”

With 250,000 hits and counting on YouTube, Fyling-J Studios plans to immediately enter production on the second installment of the series and plans for a July release on their website. Additional episode will follow on a regular basis.
