48-hour film project

The 48-Hour Film Project is rapidly approaching and this year, Flying-J Studios has plans to dominate the competition.

"Last year, it was a last-minute decision to enter," said producer Ed Sochacki. "It was the first time our studio decided to do anything like this, and to be under a 48-hour window like we were, we were satisified with the end result."

This year though, the studio is breaking out their big guns as  the founders of Flying-J Studios, Taras Zharov and Tom Jalana, will be heavily involved with the direction the film takes. More than half of the creative talent at the studio has been given permission to work on the film this year.

"Last year was great," said Frank Voznak, who directed The Ashes of Walter Western. "But to be working with two legends like Mr. Zharvo and Mr. Jalana, I can only image how incredible this project will be when it's all said and done!"
